Deborah Lippmann Strange Love

Hello!!  I've got another color from my Christmas gift Deborah Lippmann True Blood collection on today.  This one's Strange Love.




I thought Strange Love was a straight-up magenta creme, but it's not-- it's a crelly shimmer.  I didn't realize it until I started applying and suddenly these dark pink flecks started showing up.  Well, hidden shimmer's always a welcome and pleasant surprise.  The formula's another hit, for the most part.  It's very user friendly, and just a little bit streaky after two coats.  Ever notice how polish sometimes pools heavily in the middle of your nail?  This could probably be resolved by getting less polish on the brush before you start to paint, but then I find I need to go in again just to finish one coat.  Not a huge deal, but worth pointing out.  
Anyway, so far this little trio of colors is a total winner!  Here's the link to my post on New Flesh, and I'll be sporting the third and vampiest color shortly. ;)

    Holy Moly I love this!!!! Trust Deborah Lippmann to give us something so unique and special. It looks fab on ya!!! And I sometimes experience the same issues when painting my nails and am also rather go back for another dip in the bottle than trying to move the pooled polish over the nail

      I think it might be my only crelly. And that is an edit, lol. I was kindy and gently corrected on facebook as to the finish. ;)
