OPI Don't Burst My Bubble

Happy Saturday!!  I absolutely LOVE my nails today.  I was not expecting to be wowed by this color at all, but it's freakin' gorgeous.  Here's OPI Don't Burst My Bubble, my new favorite from Oz, The Great and Powerful.






Don't Burst My Bubble is a lightly blushed white jelly that translates on the nail as the palest peachy lavender.  It's a beautiful sheer, not as untouchable and pristine as last year's Don't Touch My Tutu and not quite as fresh from the spa, health exudingly natural as You Callin' Me a Lyre.  Don't Burst My Bubble's its own thing, glossy, clean and disarmingly elegant.  I used three coats and a topcoat.  It's my birthday weekend and I've been planning on wearing my favorite black out to dinner tonight, but I think I'll stick with this. ♥

      Thanks, Es :) I've actually been thinking about filing... Have you thought about using a Nail Envy or Rejuvacote type basecoat? Rejuvacote's seriously worked miracles on my nails.

    Can I just say how jealous I am that you can get these sheers to look so pretty?! I feel like these polishes always want to streak on me (though I still haven't picked up any of the Oz collection or the Ballet collex from last year). Love what clean shade this is-- looks great on you!

      Really? OPI's jelly formula is really nice and self leveling, and easy to photograph, as long as you wait long enough between coats. I've had bubbling issues before but that's because I didn't give each coat enough time to dry. But thank you ;)
