OPI Tiffany Case-- The Bond Girls

Good morning!!  Today's one of those days where I'd prefer to just put these photos up and just be all, "See, PRETTTTTTY!!"  I seriously can't think of a thing to say.  Holy SMOKES, I wish I had some orange juice right now.

Gahh, I still need to segue into the polish.  Hmmmm....

I heart the OPI Bond Girl Liquid Sand polishes, like, a lot.  They got me hook, line, and sinker with this collection.  I don't generally go for the "finish o' the year" polishes, but here I sit with my Bond Girls mini set AND a full size of Tiffany Case (and I'm fairly certain I'll be getting a full size Vesper, too).

Tiffany Case is named for Jill St. John's character in Diamonds Are Forever.

Tiffany Case is a gorgeous robin's egg blue polish.  I love this shade of blue and this is one of those that looks twinklingly magical both in the bottle and going on the nail.  Generously interspersed with the matte mica bits is silver and blue shimmer and some larger blue glitters.  This is the flashiest polish of the collection and I love how it gives my nails a jewel encrusted look.   It also seems to be the roughest, and I will say that is NOT what sends me about this collection.  I love the colors and I love how the texture makes them look, but I'm not wild about the feel.  Tiffany Case applies beautifully in two coats and does take a little extra time to dry since you won't be using a topcoat with it

If I had a big ol' diamond necklace, I totally would have done a shot with it, but I don't even have any fakes so I thought I'd pose with some real ice, lol.   That hand was INCREDIBLY cold, lemme tell ya.

The Bond Girls collection is still available for purchase at Ulta, but they're going fast and certain colors are proving impossible to keep in stock... If you're interested, run, don't walk, lol.

Thanks for reading and have a fantastic day ♥♥

  2. Haha sometimes I just want to put up a picture and say "Here ya go. This is why you're here." I'm still not convinced on textures but this color is to die for. Great photos! I like Essie's numbering idea :)

    1. Oh, that's right, you're not big on the textures. The color totally made me think of you, though. And thank you :) :)

  3. Tiffany Case and Jinx are the only two I want from this collection. Tiffany Case is simply beautiful. Still not on board with the textured trend, but I want those two because I think they are so pretty. At first I thought you were holding some kind of plastic wrap. LOL Btw, your nail length and shape are perfect!

    1. LOL, I was wondering what she was holding too!? I thought it was some glass sculpture:)

    2. They are gorgeous, which is why I put up with the texture, lol. And omgosh, it totally looks like I'm holding a wad of saran wrap, especially on my phone screen... :/ I thought about not posting it but I felt like 1) this polish deserves three photos, and 2) I like my prop shots. So there it is, lolol ;)

    3. Umm my first thought looking at that photo was: she's holding a diamond necklace?!?! 'Cuz my eyeballs picked up part of the line below the photo. :P
I can't believe you seriously held a giant ice conglomeration long enough to take photos! YOUCH. The effect is stunning though! :D
Oh, I had to comment here because of what you said about "this polish deserves 3 photos..." I guess I should tone down the # of photos I put in my posts then, 'cuz none of them are this awesome!

    4. Well bless your pointed head, but your photos don't take up half a freaking page each, so you just post to your heart's content :) If I could make a heart with my phone I'd put one here ;)

    5. Oh, and my hand was really, REALLY cold (imagine that). I had to put the ice down a few times. It was a gruelling photo shoot, lmbo.

    6. Hehe! I *wish* my photos could take up half a page each! 'Cuz that would mean they're really purty & really high quality. :-)
Yes - imagine that - I guess you've ascertained you have a healthy nervous system! :-D Amazing what nail polish photography can teach you! (and what we go through to get good pics...I almost dropped that wine bottle on my head, trying to get a good angle with the light shining through it & the polish!)
      Here's a <3 for you!!!

    1. It's a good thing I'm replying to stuff on my lunch break, otherwise I would have totally forgotten to add oj to the shopping list. So thanks for the reminder, lol ;) And yeah, this one's AWESOME.

  6. Hi sis - this is drop dead gorgeous and a bomb on you!!!! And the idea with the real ice??? I cannot think of anyone else in the Blogging World who would have come up with this idea - you floor me!!!! Now I am starting to obsess about Tiffany - yay or nay??? I already got the other blue and I think they are too close to justify owning both - enjoy your orange juice - my day is already nearly over and I am splurging on my sofa debating with myself of getting a nice Nespresso.... Have a good day

    1. I read on Scrangie, I think it was, that they are altogether different colors and finishes. I'll send you a picture of my nails next to the MC blue so you can decide ;). I hope you got your espresso ;)

  7. AAHHH! Solitaire *was* my favorite...but now I see this??! I'm so confused! Beautiful pics! If you were a Bond Girl, they'd call you Icy Hot! No...I guess that sounds like an arthritis cream. :P

    1. Sorry for the confusion, man, you should probably just get this one and then you can like them both equally :D Uhhh... Didn't Regis Philbin promote Icy Hot? Or maybe it was John McEnroe. More than likely I just don't know what I'm talking about... Thanks for the sentiment, anyway, rofl ;)

  10. I need to have this one! It's just too pretty. You know, I usually want to ramble on and on in my posts but I doubt anyone would want to read that. Lol.

    1. Veronica, I DO ramble on & on in my posts...I guess that's my writing style, but perhaps also the reason I only have 6 (AWESOME) followers. :P Oh well, it's not all about the numbers! You could always try alternating long, rambling posts and short, succinct ones. Just an idea! But most importantly: be yourself in your blog - don't post how you think others would want you to. :-) I'm gonna hafta check out your blog in a moment here!

  17. This polish is AMAZING!! Oh man! I need this one! It is pretty amusing that you're holding a huge chunk of ice, too! Lol!

  18. You make his shade look absolutely great. I've not bought any of the liquid sand varnishes as I'm not sure about them as I fear they would feel too 'scratchy'. It's a shame, they look so gorgeous!

    1. Oh, thank you so much!! I'm definitely more about the look than the texture, myself. They are gorgeous but I definitely prefer a smooth nail ♥

  19. I've been really good about not buying more nail polish, but this one is tempting me!
