Sinful Colors Cinderella

 Mmmrph.  Can we just fast forward to the part of the year where I don't get some sort of bug every six weeks?  I've never been under the weather so much in one year in my life.  However, neither hell nor high water are going to keep me from painting my nails (especially when my weekend manicure was starting to chip, hello!) so I've got Sinful Colors Cinderella on today.

Cinderella is one of the earlier It colors this year that also happens to be very cheap, and while I'm just not sure about light blues right now (okay, I'm still not sure about pastels in general), this one is super affordable, and the swatches lovely (and seriously...

 )
 I thought I'd check out my local Walgreens and see if they had it, and if not, I wouldn't worry about it (it was in stock the second time I checked....)  Anyway, if you've never heard of such a thing, Cinderella is a very sheer sky blue decked out in tiny pink shimmer.  So delicate and lovely.

Because it's so sheer, some gals like to wear Cinderella with a matching light blue base, but I'm happy with it on its own, in three coats.  This is my first experience with the Sinful Colors line, and the formula on this is great-- super easy to apply, with a perfect, neither too thick, nor too thin consistency.  The brush, however, was cut on the diagonal. ?????
And there you go.  I hope you've enjoyed my excessive use of parentheses today.  Thank you for reading. :)

  1. I wore Cinderella by itself also, it was pretty light but it still looked really nice!

    1. I feel like it could have used a fourth coat, but by then things usually get a little too thick, even the ones with nice, thin formulae.

  2. When sinful colors were 99cents a month back or so, I went to try to get Cinderella and my Walgreens was out. /sadface. I grabbed Ruby Ruby and Hazard instead. They are my first 2 Sinful colors, but neither of mine have a slanted brush. I think maybe you were unfortunate to grab a faulty bottle. It's such a pretty color. <3 all Disney things

    1. I <3 Disney, too! I figured the brush was just a fluke. It would've been a much bigger deal had this been a dark or bright polish.

  3. I love how the pink shimmer really shows up on the last photo! I haven't used this polish for a manicure yet because I'm not sure if I love it! I think I'll try layering it over a baby blue. It truly is a really pretty color and the name is so fitting!

    1. It isn't one of my favorites, either, but it is very pretty. It's kind of one that's more fun to look at than to actually wear.

  4. Incredible - I totally love this color. Yeah Sinful Colors brushes are, well, lacking. But what can you expect in a 2.00 polish right?
