Zoya Suvi

A while ago I saw Zoya touting Suvi as their lacquer answer to Pantone's color of the year, emerald green.  I'm not sure it's that, but it is highly gorgeous.

Suvi is a velvety blackened forest green shimmer.  It's not exactly what I was expecting from the bottle, which was something a little on the blue side for some reason.  It's beautiful, elegant, and luxe, though, and kind of reminds me of my freshman year homecoming dress (totally in a good way; I wish I still had it so I could show you a picture).  The formula was on the odd side for Zoya, in my opinion, especially with this kind of finish.  Suvi's super thin and a little sheer.  I used three full coats here.  Application is still among the best and I'm really glad I decided to pick this one up.

Thanks for reading and have an awesome weekend!! ♥

    1. Thanks Christine :) :) It doesn't give me lobster hads, which pleases me, lolol. Weekend's been nice, we got a bunch of cleaning and chores done this afternoon and now we're relaxing. Sooo nice not to be laid out on the sofa anymore. :p

    1. Sometimes the polish warrants a bigger picture and if everything else looks alright, then why not? ;)

  4. I got this one from the recent Zoya promotion, too. I agree about the oddly thin formula. The end result is very, very close to Illamasqua Viridian, though,

    1. Are you going to keep Suvi? I was expecting a more teal color, closer to that L'Oreal I mentioned.

  5. Oh, and I think Holly makes more sense for the Pantone color of the year.
