WetnWild Stars & Stripes

I found something fun in the grocery store last night.  It's WetnWild Stars & Stripes, a really gooey holographic and silver glitter with small bars, big bars, and lots of stars.  It's part of their limited edition Sparks and Stripes collection, and, the 4th of July being one of my favorite holidays, I got all excited and had to grab it.
As I tried it out this morning, I learned that I have a seriously limited amount of cremes in my stash.  In a couple months, this will clearly call for some red and blue.  In the meantime, I decided to go all glow-in-the-dark stars on your bedroom ceiling with Butter London Union Jack Black as the base.

This glitter is hard to apply, as you might guess.  The first time I brushed over my pinky yielded nothing but clear jelly.  I had to dig around for the stars and carefully place them on my nails.  It's not a huge deal, though, because this stuff levels itself out evenly enough, dries quite quickly, and is seriously fun to wear.  The stars and small bars are holographic and the larger bars are silver.

  1. Very festive! I actually got some stars like that in my Julep Maven box - but I have to apply them one by one. My daughters love them - but they are quite time consuming.

I would pick this up, but I think I already have a polish with stars like this. SO pretty, and oh yes, you always have to pick out these kind of glitters. lol

  3. Ooooh I need to go look for this one - I want this really bad! I love it! I'll bet putting down a layer of Orly Sweet Peacock with Ulta After party and then this one would be the PERFECT 4th mani.

    1. Ohh, this would be awesome over Sweet Peacock. You do realize you're the whole reason I know what any of this means, right? <3
