Zoya Belle + L'Oreal Club Prive

Hello and good morning!  You may or may not have noticed that LLPT is under construction.  My lovely and talented friend and the author of Mommy Does Her Nails is giving me a full revamp, and I'm so stoked about my new layout I can hardly contain myself.  She does amazing work.  You may have seen some of it on Sassy Lacquer's labels.  Once the banner's up... look out... LLPT will have, by that time, exploded from excitement!!

But on to the polish. :)  I said on Tuesday that I was going to actually challenge myself with the ABC challenge, and so I have today, as promised.  I layered.  Yay, me.  And, I layered a B and a C.  Here's Zoya Belle over L'Oreal Club Prive.

Belle is a gorgeous grapefruit pink jelly shimmer from Zoya's Birchbox Blogger collection gifted to me by Gosia, the lovely proprietor of this challenge, who knew I'd been lemming this collection and sent me this awesome surprise.  The formula is as good as Zoya makes.  I used one coat.
Club Prive is a gorgeous, creamy robin's egg blue that I swatched here.  The truth is that I chose it because it begins with C, and I wasn't expecting to actually like my first venture into mixing and matching.  lol.  I used three coats (which is what it takes to bring Club Prive to full opacity; Belle is just dense enough that I probably could have gotten away with two which also would have brought down the ridiculous dry time... you have been warned!).

Also... my friend Essie, author of iHeartPrettyPolish, is hosting her first giveaway here.  We've kind of grown together in this crazy blogging world.  She's worked hard to make her blog amazing, and she's a lovely and sweet lady on top of it.  I can't think of anyone more deserving and I'm so proud of her and her success.  The giveaway is seriously awesome, too.  Go give her some love, if you haven't already.
She's also participating in this challenge with me.  Check out the other gals and their choices.

Thank you for reading!  Have a colorful day. ;)

    1. Thanks, C! I don't have the whole trio, just this one, which I was totally stoked to get. I can't wait for my new banner! Everything else is how it's going to be, which is spare and elegant, imho. lol. The post where I complained about it is now obsolete. ;)

  9. This is such an incredible layering mix of colors! I would have never thought to have mixed the two! I have an aqua Sation I just got that would look perfect under Belle and I can't wait to try it out.
