Say hello to my newest brand crush.
Mommy Does Her Nails gifted me with the delicious Jade Holographic Irresistivel for my birthday this year. I've heard about these Jades and passed out a few times from the glorious holo beauty emanating from my screen, but nothing, NOTHING prepared me for experiencing one in real life.
Irresistivel (italics are, in fact, necessary here) is an absolutely stunning limited edition nude/champagne gold linear holo. It's almost as if Candice knew exactly who she was shopping for... hmmm....
There are lots of gorgeous, strong linear holos out there, but Jades are in a class of their own for a couple reasons. First, this needs no special treatment. You lay down your regular basecoat, two or three layers of polish (I used two), and your topcoat, and it doesn't affect a thing. There's no pulling, no patching, no dulling of the rainbow, nothing untoward. IT BEHAVES LIKE A NORMAL POLISH. The second is this-- you know how Laylas are kind of demi-matte and a *little* on the gritty side? This Jade is slick! And by slick I mean slick like those shiny, holo leggings the hip young kids are wearing. (I think I may need a pair, anyway, lol). It's smooth as glass, with or without topcoat. This company hails from Brazil, and lemme tell you, if this is any indication, they know their holos.
Thank you again for my awesome birthday present, Candice, you have successfully gotten me hooked on another line. I've got two more Jades en route to me from Llarowe even as we speak.
Thanks for reading! Have an amazing weekend and be safe ♥☼
