Today I have what might possibly be the most heinously unflattering color ever on my nails but it is hardly noticeable because it is also a supremely intense linear holo. This is Jade Mystic Gold.
I've been obsessed with Mystic Gold ever since Simona at Light Your Nails showed it off at about this time last year. Mystic Gold is a bright yellow gold jelly base that somehow does nothing but intensify an already insanely strong and full spectrum rainbow.
Jades are my favorite holos because of their amazing formulas and decidedly un-divalike behavior. They apply like normal polishes, with none of the tugging, patching, or balding you're used to seeing with so many holos. I suspect the jelly base is to credit for this, but it might just be that Brazil, Jade's country of origin, knows how to do a holo properly. I used my regular basecoat, three layers of polish, and one layer of topcoat. So easy.
Just... insane. I've got nothing else, lol. This is one of the most deliciously, wickedly brilliant holos I've ever seen.
I purchased Mystic Gold through Llarowe but these are available in a number of different places, including Ninja Polish and Color4Nails. All retail for $6.50 to $7.
