Hi friends!! Continuing with Butter London week on la blog, I have a couple of the Colour Clash fall/winter polishes to show you all. I totally love what Butter London's done with their last two polish collections, thinking outside the box when it comes to color and encouraging us to do the same. So many gals are saying they think the summer and fall collections should be transposed, but I loved the neutral metallics of the summer polishes and I love the bold and brightness of the fall offering.
Wellies turned out to be a favorite for me.
Wellies is a bright chartreuse without a hint of brown or dustiness, a surprising and punchy neutral. It's even and streak free in three coats and the formula is sublime. I've said it before, and I'll say it again-- Butter London has their cream formula down to a science and it's so great to grab a light shade, even, and know it's going to behave and be good.
One of my favorite clothing items this summer has been a pair of capris in this very shade and when I say this color is surprisingly neutral I mean that it looks great with other brights, but it also looks amazing and edgy with dark jewel tones, particularly navy blues and purples. Wellies is going to be seriously fun to wear this fall.
Wellies and the rest of the Colour Clash collection are available for $15 each at Ulta and on butterlondon.com. Like Butter London on facebook to stay abreadth of specials and new releases.
Thanks for reading and have a lovely day!
