Hi friends!! It's the middle of August and fall is imminent, so that means LLPT will be sporting mass quantities of holos while the sunlight is still reliably good. Today I have for your very much viewing pleasure three of a set of eight lovely linears from a polish company called Perfect, out of Bulgaria. Cool, yes? I'm starting to enjoy collecting holos from around the world.
Perfect holos come in small bottles, 6.5ml, the same size as Max factor polishes, if you're familiar. Perfects are numbered, not named. First up is H5, a rosy pink holo.
H6, a slightly brownish red toned nude holo.
H7, a blue violet holo.
I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite. Purple holos have a special place in my heart for some reason, but I LOVE the rosy pink one and it's definitely the strongest of the three. The nude one's very cool too, as it's a warmer nude than I've seen in holos and I just adore the idea of a mannequin hand holo anyway. The formula on Perfect Holos is like the Laylas-- they've got a sort of matte metallic finish and will pull with a regular basecoat. Prep with an aquabase, or nothing at all, if your natural nails are in good condition, and these'll behave just fine. I used two coats and a topcoat. TC isn't necessary but it does clean up any imperfections the thin, flat metallic base might amplify and it gives the actual polish better staying power.
The only other thing with these is that the holo particles separate from the base very easily. The bottles have a gradient-y look to them and there's even a label on each telling you to give these a good shake before using. All in all, these are nice, strong holos with a great price point ($4.75 each). If you're in the market for a full set of holos, the collection of eight is a nice, affordable set of pretty and basic colors for under $40.

DeleteWOW! Serious WOW factor - the separating rumors has kept me from snapping these up but that nude and blue violet have my eyes about the size of dinner plates right now. LOVE, love, love!!
ReplyDeleteIt's honestly not even a deal at all, I mean, we shake our polishes before applying anyway, right? The obvious need for it kind of makes these a novelty, lol.
Deletewow these metallics are too cool!
ReplyDeleteAren't they amazing?! :D
DeleteOoohs and aaahs! Those are three pretty holos! Yes fall is coming (sad is me), so wear those holos while you still can enjoy them. :D

ReplyDeleteYes, good thing I'm off today, these aren't impeding my ability to get any work done, lol. Well, maybe... there are dishes and laundry to be done... but staring at pretty holos is SO much more fun! XD
DeleteThese are amazing, Liesl! I'm in shock from the blue holo! They look great on you. :D
ReplyDeleteIsn't that one cool?! It's the shade of a bluebell :) And thank you!
DeleteI may be super boring, but holy! H6 is amazing!!

ReplyDeleteThank you :) Glad you like them!
Deletewow! such beautiful holos...love H5 :)
ReplyDeleteThey are really nice... I love H5, too, it might be my favorite, despite what I said in my post, lol.
DeleteAren't they amazing? I hope I own the nude one, if I don't, I might want to add it to my collection!
ReplyDeleteI also can't wait to see all the next holos you'll swatch!
Thanks, Holo Queen ♥♥♥ These are amazing, abd the nude one is very cool! So glad to have these in my lil holo stash.
DeleteYou have the best holos...lovely!
ReplyDeleteThanks, sweets :) Any holo is a good holo :D
DeleteOoooh I love that nude holo! All of your pictures look amazing by the way, but that one grabs my attention :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gwen :) I'd say I'm partial to nudes but I'm really partial to holos in general, lolol :)
DeleteWhy?!!! I think I've mentioned my love for holos once or twice on your blog and you go and do this! Trying to resist buying all of the holos. It's hard! LOL These are beautiful. Ugh! Okay, so maybe just the brown one since I don't have a brown holo. LOL
ReplyDeleteSee how easy that was? You just talked yourself down to one ;) But seriously, these are really nice and you can pick up a couple for the price of an OPI.
