Revlon Parfumerie China Flower

Good morning, everyone :) I didn't realize how much I actually neeeeeeded another Revlon Parfumerie polish until I started writing about Italian Leather yesterday.
China Flower is a bright coral-red crelly (creme-jelly hybrid) with a soft, non-sweet floral scent.  I adooooore this color!  Sometimes, life just calls for something vibrant and the whole experience of this one reminds me of flowered cheongsams and beautiful jade jewelry.

China Flower has a fine formula-- pooling can happen but the small handle of the brush makes it easy to control.  I used two coats of polish and I have a tad bit of visible nail line but I feared three coats would make this a little on the thick side and the semi-sheerness of this one is actually quite dainty.

Like all regular fragrances, some are more tenacious than others and this light, slightly peppery floral is very quiet compared to Italian Leather.  In fact, I can't detect it at all unless I'm purposefully sniffing my nails.  If you're wary of the scent in these in the first place, China Flower is a great one with which to give the concept a try.

I really like this one, from the gorgeous color to the subtle, pretty scent.  Looking at my nails in this polish makes me happy.

Thank you for reading and have a beautiful day. ♥♥

**editing to add: After having worn this for a couple days, I've noticed that the scent on this one actually becomes more noticeable after you've had it on for a while-- like, it needs some time to develop.  It's still not overwhelming in the least, but it is a soft, ever so slightly spicy floral.  Very pretty.

  3. This is so beautiful on you. What a classic red. I wish these polishes did not smell though because I tried one and it's just too much for me. I love this color on you though.

    2. I forgot...did I send you Pillar Box Red? If so, is this more orange?

    3. You did. This is way more orange. Pillar Box Red is a very true red comparatively speaking... which, btw, I have special plans for :)

    1. Aside from the cuuuuute bottle, that's what drew me to these. They're not your typical one note fruity fragrance; scented polish for grownups, I saw on one blog (can't remember whose).

  7. Hi sis - oh I love the Ikes of China Flower and for sure agree with you - they live of a soft sheerness, it keeps them squishy and light!!! If those polishes EVER make it to my local watering hole I definitely will grab some!!! <3

  10. Very intriguing polish!! :D Of course a classic (orangey) red is perfect on you and your lovely nailsies!
I only have one scented polish (Tea Beauty Cherry Blossom) and would LOVE to try these Revlons, but I'm sure I'll never see them here. Maaaybe in Grand Forks or Fargo, but usually when I'm in those sorts of places, we're not going to Wal-Mart or drugstores. ;) More like DSW & Ulta!
P.S. I must apologize for my absence in post comments... I've been out living life lately & haven't read any blogs in forEVER. :-/
P.P.S. Your "about me" just caught my eye. and the fact that you said "red lipstick" first, then nail polish, perfume, and cats, made me feel like the adjective "red" could also apply to all those other things, SO I'm now CSOTI (chuckling softly on the inside) about red cats. ;-) hehehe!

    1. Lolol, yes, grammar police!! XD I'm surprised my mama hasn't picked up on that one. Los gatos are always threatened with red stripeage when they wander into the room during dye time, lol. (For the record, I would NEVER.).
Okay, Cherry Blossom is a similar color, is it not? And also, if boondock Iregon can get these then I'm sure you will, too. Any particular color/scent you're wanting?
