Cult Nails Falling Hard

Good morning, guys and gals!!  I feel like this year has been remarkable for pink polishes, and I've found myself drawn to them on many, many occasions.  It's not that it's ever been a color I disliked, but I just can't get enough of them this spring!  Anyway, reason #2 that I HAD to have the new Cult Nails It's a New Day set is this completely gorgeous orchid-pink creme, Falling Hard.  As with every Cult Nails polish I've worn thus far, the formula is flawless, and this one's perfectly glossy in two coats.  For the sake of longevity, I used one layer of topcoat.

I made an edit to my post on Evolution, also in this set, stating that these are, in fact, available now for individual sale on cultnails.com.  There's a sale going on over there, too-- all May long, you can get 20% off new orders using the code CELEBRATE and US orders over $20 get free shipping.

Thank you for reading, as always, and have a lovely day ♥♥

  2. MUST HAVE ALL THE PINKS. Oh...sorry. Very pretty pink...reminds me of Zoya Josie, which is Barbie-like perfection. <3

    1. UGH...I meant Zoya JOLENE. As in "I'm begging of you, please don't take my man" Jolene.

    2. No idea. Had to google it. Miley Cyrus comes up before Dolly Parton D: Aaaaanyhoo, yiss, Josie is that fabulous jadeite color from last summer, and also a musical reference. I love that Zoya uses them so much.

    1. I just saw the collection on IG! That mint, good-ness!! The sad thing is, they cost money and C thinks I should be satisfied with my new Zoyers for a while. I mean, he does have a point. Sort of. ;)

    2. I can see where he's coming from ONLY because my hubby feels the same. *Sigh, guess we will have to get our high from everyone else's swatches!!

  4. Hi Liesl, I know the feeling - I am also strongly drawn to all those pinks and of course had to have this whole collection. This morning I woke to find a mail of Cult Nails in my Inbox and while sipping coffee placed the order :-o!!! But back to Falling Hard - not only does it look great worn on its own, it definitely has tons of Skittelette options - have you tried the stamping plate yet? I am practising hard ;-) xxx

    1. I just saw swatches on IG last night. I'm going to skip this one, despite how utterly gorgeous they are (maybe prettier than this set). I like that she's releasing sets in groupings of three, rather than five to six. It's a lot to drop all at once for nail polish. I haven't tried the stamping plate yet, but I'm thinking I might play with it and New Day. I love the lemon yellows but they do not love me back... Can't wait to see your results!! ♥

  5. Oh my! what a gorgeous pink! It might be some kind of epidemia, because I'm lusting pink so much this spring, not only for nail polish, also makeup and jewellery... my wallet=not happy :P

    1. Ha! I've been digging pink lips this spring, too... Something's clearly in the air, lol. Maybe it's because they're so unique and lovely this time around. Bad for la wallet, indeed ;)
