Independence Day Manicure #2 featuring Zoya

*press samples

Hi guys and gals!!  Zoya's having another big promotion for Independence Day, get three polishes free for the price of shipping, now through July 6.  The fact that I did another Fourth of July manicure in all Zoya shades was pure coincidence (though I suppose I should have their sale times memorized by now, lol).

I'm pretty much still over the moon about the summer collections this year, so I decided to do a skittlette using this summer's blues and Livingston, a consummately perfect summer cherry red creme.  On index, Ling, a royal/cyan blue creme; middle, pinky, and thumb, Livingston; ring, Muse, a rich cerulean glassfleck with holo glitters.

Thank you for reading and have a lovely day!! ☼☼

  3. Hi Liesl - less is more maximised - that's the first thought that poped in my mind! Just beautiful sis and seeing this reminds me to tighten my own leash when experimenting with Skittelettes - simplicity is still the most striking tool to create awesomeness - have a lovely day xxx

    1. Wow, well thank you, sis! I felt like it was on the boring side (for you all, not for me, because three different polishes on one hand doesn't happen too often around here, lol). So thank you, if this is awesome then maybe I'll experiment a little more... And your skittlettes are wonderfully you, and it's been so awesome watching your skill set expand ♥♥♥

  4. Is is nuts that I look at this and DON'T see simple? Heck, three colors is way advanced in my book. :P You are so right about Livingston. I love that red, but I must tell you that it looks prettier on you than it does me. All of these colors are perfection on you!! I have had nothing on my nails for days (gasp), and you have made me want to create a My Country 'Tis of Thee mani. <3

    1. Oh, in mine, too, as you well know, lol. Like I said to Christine, I felt like this was borderline boring in the context (and on PaA I have to wonder why I bother anymore, lolol). NOTHING?!!?! Well, I suppose you have an excuse ;) I'd love to see a red, white and blue from you, though.

    1. Hey, thank you!! I think so, too-- it keeps it from being too ordinary.
