Halloween Nails featuring Glam Polish

*previously provided press samples

Hi everyone!!  One fabulous Halloween nail look has been jumping out at me this year, and that is the light green base paired with a bold glitter.  You all know I'm not really a glitter person, but what better time than Halloween to step outside your norm and be a little different?  I was stoked to find I had a perfect pairing in my stash-- Glam Polish Tinker Bell, a super shimmery spring green, and Glam Polish Graveyard Smash, a bright mix of red, purple, and kelly green glitters.

These Glams are from collections from last fall and this past winter so they aren't currently available on Glam Polish's standard stocklists.  If you know of any similar polishes, let me know.  My Glams come from color4nails.com

Any Halloween trend calling your name?  What do you plan to sport on your nails this Friday?

Thanks for reading and have an awesome day!! ♥

  1. I remember Tinker Bell from last year because I loved it. <3 I am becoming less and less of a glitter person due to the insane amount of work it all is! But this is a fun and cute combo for Halloween, and Halloween just needs glitter, you know? We are reprising our circus sideshow roles on Halloween to greet all the unsuspecting kids, but alas, my costume requires black gloves!

    1. Well, that's another thing-- I have zero patience for glitter removal. In fact, after I did this I had immediate remorse because I didn't want to deal with having to take it off. Fortunately, it's sparse enough they it didn't cause much of a problem. Your costume is totally worth foregoing a Halloween manicure this year :) :)

  2. This is such an unconventional pairing, but it works so well! Especially the purple against the green - gorgeous!

    1. Unconventional pairings are the best, sometimes, I think :)

    1. Me, too :) I've been so into neutrals lately, this is a fun deviation.

  8. Tinkerbell looks awesome! Like you I'm not much of a big glitter fan - I much prefer glitters like Fairy Dust.

    1. Yes!! Holo and shimmery toppers are the best (though I do enjoy the occasional flakie).

  13. I love that combination! It's perfect for halloween without resorting to the usual orange and black.

  14. This is totally a winning combination, I have to say! I'm naturally drawn to all things green, and that's a gorgeous one. Too bad you have me drooling over a color that's no longer in stock. :P With glitters, I go through cycles. Sometimes I don't mind the work and I'll do glitter manis back-to-back. But then I get fed up and swear off of them for many weeks hehe. :D

    1. Sorry, man, I had a few twinges before and after I posted. I think it'd be cool if Glam brought back a few of their older hits for a LE set. A lot of the new stuff is in this same vein so there might actually be one similar available. As for glitters, I'll do one more for Halloween and then another one or two for Christmas, maybe, and then I'll be good for another year, lol ;)

  15. I love those purple star glitters! I tried and failed at water marbling so now I'm doing some mix-n-match nails for tomorrow night. So far I've got some white, some black jelly with glitter, and some orange and silver glitter thrown on. We'll see what comes out in the end - hopefully wearable and Halloween worthy!

    1. CUUUUTE!! I'm sure it'll look great :) I watermarbled once (and I use the term loosely, and I deleted all my pictures). There's definitely a learning curve, lol.
