Powder Perfect Swatches and Review
Powder Perfect Cosmetics
Hi all!!  Powder Perfect is a new to me indie brand that I've been seeing raves about for the past few months.  It's a diverse line of unique glitter combinations, a multitude of finishes, and intriguing inspiration, and I'm stoked to be able to try a small cross section of their offerings.

Shadowhunter, from the Shadowhunter collection, is a deep, shimmery indigo.  The base is watery thin and required a steady hand, a little cleanup, and three coats to be fully opaque, but once it's there, it's outstandingly dramatic and beautiful.  Finished with one layer of topcoat.

In My Dreams, from the Melancholia collection, is a vivid magenta jelly filled with iridescent glitters and microglitters that flash pink, orange, blue violet, and green.  It's a stunner of a polish with a great formula and a great color saturation.  I used two coats and one layer of topcoat.

Flowerbomb 2.0 (if it's part of a specific collection, I'm not able to track it down) is a soft lavender-pink crelly base packed with glitters and microglitters in satiny white and grey and metallic mauve and pink.  Because this one is so glitter heavy, it applies rather thick and the first coat goes on pretty sheer, due to the pale base color.  Surprise, surprise, though-- it's opaque in two coats!  This glitter flows nicely and applies well but is a little topcoat hungry.  I used one thick layer of topcoat but depending on preference, you might want to use two.

Remember Dreaming, from the Melancholia collection, is a whimsical and wistful light cerulean creme filled with magenta circle glitter, teal and aqua hexes, aqua shards, and mauve and magenta glitter and microglitter.  The shards and circles look plentiful enough but I couldn't manage to get many on my nails, so Remember Dreaming applied more sparse than it appears in the bottle.  The formula is lovely, maybe the best of these four, but I wish the glitter payoff had been better.  I used two coats and finished with one layer of topcoat.
