Good morning!! I've been wanting Julep Eloise since Essie posted about it last October. I was stoked to be able to get as an add-on to my recent introductory Julep Maven box.
Eloise is a dark, smoky midnight blue creme. It's just gorgeous, so rich and elegant. The formula's a little thin, and this, combined with Julep's long brush and handle, make application a little tricky, but if you're careful and work slowly minimal cleanup is required. I used two coats.
I love this color so much. It's a lower maintenance alternative to black or red, still high impact but with a little more decorum.
Eloise can be purchased through Julep's website.
Thanks for reading and enjoy your Sunday ♥
Lovely shade of blue :)
ReplyDeleteI think so, too :)
DeleteThis color is just soooo gorgeous! I just adore these deep, blue cremes.
ReplyDeleteI do, too... I have three similar colors. Lol.
DeleteIt's a really pretty and elegant blue creme!
ReplyDeleteI so agree :)
DeleteAh that is so pretty! Perfect for the fall weather. I need a color like it in my collection.
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect for the beginning of June, too ;)
DeleteVery pretty. This is classically chic and I love it!
ReplyDeletePerfect description and my thoughts exactly :)
DeletePretty blue!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely...I think it would be an awesome neutral. It looks so pretty on you. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely neutral, and thank you, sweets :)
DeleteLooks great on you! I need to wear this puppy again:)
ReplyDeleteYes, you do, you little enabler :)
DeleteThis is a beautiful blue and I can't get over how beautiful your nails are! I have really been on a blue nail polish buying spree lately. My nails are nubbins right now though, because they've been peeling like crazy. :( Would you mind sharing what your nail care/polish regimen is(base/top coat, treatments), please? If you've already done this before, could you point me in the direction of that post? Thank you. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been on a blue tear lately, myself ;) I don't have a routine post, but that might be fun... I use Duri Rejuvacote as my base every time I paint. Aside from cuticle care, that's the only treatment I use. It's amazing stuff. Thank you for the lovely compliment :)
DeleteThat looks so pretty and classy on you, Liesl! :-)
ReplyDelete~ Yun
Thanks, Yun :) I'm certainly enjoying it.
DeleteThis looks stunning on your nails and with your skin tone! I have trouble pulling off blues like that - but it's perfect for you! And the pink pearls give it a nice contrast in that last pic!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Heather :) Isn't the dark blue/pink duo kind of neat? :) I feel like it's classic like pink and black but a little more unexpected.
DeleteHi sis - now how annoying, my internet collapsed before my comment on this got published - but my ramblings pushed aside: I love the classiness Eloise has on you, and what gorgeous pictures!!!! Just one word: IMMACULATE!!! And once more you exactly speak my language - this blue is so elegant and sophisticated - you summarized it perfect at the end of your post!!! And that picture with the pearls - just YUMMIE
ReplyDeleteUgh, that happens to me all the time when I'm commenting from my phone. So annoying. Glad you finally made it through ;) And I can't even tell you how good your comment makes me feel beause I've been so self-conscious of these photos. So thank you muchness, sis :) :)
