Julep Eloise

Good morning!!  I've been wanting Julep Eloise since Essie posted about it last October.  I was stoked to be able to get as an add-on to my recent introductory Julep Maven box.

Eloise is a dark, smoky midnight blue creme.  It's just gorgeous, so rich and elegant.  The formula's a little thin, and this, combined with Julep's long brush and handle, make application a little tricky, but if you're careful and work slowly minimal cleanup is required.  I used two coats.

I love this color so much.  It's a lower maintenance alternative to black or red, still high impact but with a little more decorum.
Eloise can be purchased through Julep's website.

Thanks for reading and enjoy your Sunday ♥

  7. This is a beautiful blue and I can't get over how beautiful your nails are! I have really been on a blue nail polish buying spree lately. My nails are nubbins right now though, because they've been peeling like crazy. :( Would you mind sharing what your nail care/polish regimen is(base/top coat, treatments), please? If you've already done this before, could you point me in the direction of that post? Thank you. :)

    1. I've been on a blue tear lately, myself ;) I don't have a routine post, but that might be fun... I use Duri Rejuvacote as my base every time I paint. Aside from cuticle care, that's the only treatment I use. It's amazing stuff. Thank you for the lovely compliment :)

  9. This looks stunning on your nails and with your skin tone! I have trouble pulling off blues like that - but it's perfect for you! And the pink pearls give it a nice contrast in that last pic!

    1. Thank you, Heather :) Isn't the dark blue/pink duo kind of neat? :) I feel like it's classic like pink and black but a little more unexpected.
