Celestial Cosmetics Little Finger

Hi everyone!!  Exciting things have been happening for e-tailer Color4Nails and proprietor Sisi, not the least of which is the launching of a collaborative collection of special effects polishes with Aussie indie newcomer Celestial Cosmetics.  The gals are Game of Thrones fans and this fun and beautiful set, called The Seven Kingdoms Collection, is a nod to the acclaimed show.  I'm stoked to be able to preview four of them within the next few days.

First up is Little Finger, an orchid purple thermal faint linear holographic polish that heats to a dusty sky blue.

This polish is awesome.  The holo strength and rainbow is similar to that of the Milani holos and has the same jellylike finish.  The formula is amazing-- I used two easy coats and one layer of topcoat, which does not dull the rainbow.  The only complaint I have-- and it's almost not so much a complaint as an observation-- is that this, and it might be this particular bottle, has a few errant red and pink bits floating around.  In the twenty coats I used altogether, one coat yielded a pink bit but it was easily and neatly discarded.

The natural gradient effect Little Finger emulates on longer nails is so pretty and for someone as decidedly unversed in nail art as I am, this is a real treat.

Here are a couple shots of Little Finger on my cold little fingertips, lolol :)

There's not a temperature or an angle at which this polish doesn't look beautiful.  Little Finger is an awesome option for my fellow holo fiends heading into the cooler months but not quite content to pack away the rainbow just yet.

Little Finger and the rest of the Celestial Cosmetics The Seven Kingdoms collection will be available for sale internationally at color4nails.com.

    1. Yes, exactly! Some of the really strong holos turn kind of dud out of direct light and the weaker ones are actually really great for non sunny weather because you don't feel like you're missing out on anything by not having them in the glaring sun. The weaker ones generally (not always, but generally) have prettier finishes, anyway.

  3. Oooh temperature changing!! Those polishes always look so cool. I'm totally not good with nail art, so I love that I can get a gradient without doing the work with these polishes hehe. :D

    1. Thank you, sis :) She's got so many pretty things in her shop, I think you'll really enjoy it. I can tell you I'm kind of crushing on Aussie indies in general right now (and Sisi stocks some great lines).
